2014 Hyundai Genesis Review
The award winning 2012 Hyundai Genesis sedan continues its leadership in the segment with exterior design improvements, the new direct injection technology for its Lambda V6
engine, new eight-speed automatic transmission, chassis and improved
fit. In addition, a new 5.0 liter direct injection V8 engine is
available exclusively with the 5.0 R-Spec model, which includes unique
19-inch machined alloy wheels, optional tires Michelin Pilot Sport PS2
summer performance and commissioning about sports transmission,
suspension and steering calibrations for exhilarating driving dynamics.
By 2012, the award-winning Hyundai Genesis
4.6-liter Tau V8 engine is now coupled only to the in-house-developed
eight-speed SHIFTRONIC, adding benefits to the acceleration and

rate of eight to six percent more efficient transfer of power than the
previous 6-speed automatic, which increases fuel economy mpg on the
highway 25-26 mpg.
