2014 Audi A5 Sportback TCNG e-gas project
Audi has exposed its 2014 A5 Sportback in Munich ahead of the model's
official first appearance at the 2012 Paris Motor Show in this week.
Like its three-door cousin, the third-generation five-door would wear
slightly progressed design in and out as well as a longer wheelbase,
more internal space and a extensive weight savings of around 198 pounds
over its predecessor. This particular design would wear the line's
optionally available LED headlamps and provides a bi-fuel powertrain as
aspect of the Audi e-Gas project. The work out uses electrolysis to
produce hydrogen, which is then combined with co2 to make methane, or
organic gas. The outcome is what Audi is calling a "carbon-neutral"
fuel.
