Toyota Etios Liva to challenge the Brio in Indonesia!

Toyota Etios Liva
has been a global hatchback model after getting launch in South African
market. In that market this popular hatchback is giving tough
competition to Ford Figo and Volkswagen Polo. Now the Indo-Japanese Auto
venture, Toyota Kirloskar is considering the Etios series cars launch
in Indonesian market in addition to increase the sales mark.

reports that in Indonesian auto market it will hit the Honda Brio which
is right now most popular and best selling entry level hatchback. The
company would launch the Etios series cars in that market by end of this
year. Currently, it is doing something well in India with launch of
innovative vehicle and recently launched the limited edition for petrol
model of the premium sedan
Toyota Corolla Altis which is called the Toyota Corolla Altis Aero.
On
the other hand, Toyota Etios Liva is being offered to the Indian
customers in both petrol and diesel but overseas market will get it with
only petrol engine. The
Toyota Etios Liva features for the abroad versions have also been changed which fully appear into the
Toyota Etios Liva pictures.

Etios Liva petrol comes packed with a 1.2 liter DOHC 8 Valve petrol
engine capable of producing up to 80 hp maximum power while the diesel
version has a 1.4L diesel powerplant that produces 68 PS of maximum
power along with peak
torque of 170 Nm. As per ARAI Etios diesel's mileage is claimed 23.5 kmpl on highway and 18.5 kmpl in city.
