The next chapter of the Chrysler Group’s much talked about 'Imported
from Detroit' campaign brings us yet another native of America’s Motor
City who made it big, renowned fashion designer and entrepreneur, John
Varvatos. The TV spot is named ‘Attitude’ and centers on the new 2011
Chrysler 300 sedan (notice the new Mopar grille?) playing on Varvatos’
sense of style, and according to the ad, his “Detroit blue-collar
attitude” when it comes to work....
Belmondo’s Chase Scene from Le Professionnel (1981)
Georges Lautner’s 1981 action-thriller Le Professionnel is about a
French Secret Service agent betrayed by his employers and left to rot in
an African prison camp. After breaking out and returning to his native
France, the agent (played by Jean-Paul Belmondo) begins plotting his
revenge against the people who set him up. In this scene, Belmondo is
attempting to outfox the French Secret Service agents following him.

Ford’s Facebook Fans Choose “Mayhem” Moniker for the Mustang V6 Performance Package
Ford held a contest on its official Mustang Facebook page asking fans to
suggest a name for the new V6 Performance Package. More than 3,000
submissions were made and nearly 6,700 users installed the “You Name It”
app that let them take part in the contest. Some 1.4 million fans were
then asked to vote with the winning name being “Mayhem Mustang Package”.
The top-voted submission came from Jeremy Marler from North Carolina,
who won a three-year lease...

Lexus CT200h Race Car to Debut at the Nurburgring
The Lexus CT200h compact hybrid will debut in racing car guise at an
endurance race this weekend at the legendary Nurburgring Nordschleife
circuit. Entered by Gazoo Racing, the same organization that races the
Lexus LFA, the CT200h will compete in the Adenauer ADAC
Rundstrecken-Trophy. Around 200 cars will line up at the start of the
six hour-race.
