Honda CR-Z Hybrid Racer
Honda
Performance Development (HPD) has announced that Honda CR-Z Hybrid
Racer will be participate in the exhibition at the second annual Le Mans
Vers Le Futur (literally translates to ‘Le Mans to the Future’), which
is a support event for the 79th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The
Honda CR-Z Hybrid Racer was displayed for the first time at the 2010
SEMA Show in Las Vegas and had its racing debut at Thunderhill 25 Hours
race in Napa, California in December of last year, which is powered by a
1.5 liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol/gasoline unit and an
electric motor mounted between the internal combustion engine and the
6-speed manual gearbox, rated at 200-horsepower and 237Nm (174.8 lb-ft)
of peak torque.
