Smart Car
The tiny Smart Car with its 71 inch wheel base, was first introduced onto the market in 1998. It has proven to be a very popular little car owing to its innovative design and good looks. The car is designed in such a way that one can change the body panels to different colours and designs if desired. This means that you very rarely see exactly the same Smart car twice. The car is on permanent display at the New York Museum of Modern art due to its unique design. This car has gained such a cult following that there are a number of Smart car events where owners show up to show off their cars and admire the cars of others. The largest one day gathering of Smart car owners in the world is the Smart Festival, which is a yearly event that takes place in the UK.
